Privacy policy

Kinlet Baby Tracker for Android · version 1 · effective 28 October 2026

In short

  • Everything you enter about your child stays on your phone. We never receive it.
  • You don't need an account. We don't use our own analytics or tracking services.
  • The app is free and shows ads from Google AdMob. Google uses data from your device for this. You decide whether those ads are personalised.

Who we are

Kinlet is a trade name of JR DevTools, a sole proprietorship in the Netherlands. JR DevTools is responsible for this app and this privacy policy. You can reach us at support@kinletapps.com.

Data about your child

Feeds, sleep, diapers, pumping, growth, temperature, medication, notes, and your child's name and date of birth are stored only in the app on your own phone. They are not sent to us or to anyone else.

Ads

The app shows a banner from Google AdMob. There are no ads in night light mode. To show and measure ads and to prevent abuse, Google processes, among other things:

On first launch, the app uses Google's consent message to ask whether you agree to personalised ads. If you say no, Google only shows non-personalised or limited ads. If you live in the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you can change your choice at any time in the app under More → Privacy settings. Outside those countries Google does not ask for consent and the menu item does not appear. In Android's settings you can also delete or reset your advertising ID.

Google processes this data as an independent controller and may process it outside the European Economic Area, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. Read more in Google's privacy policy and in how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Kinlet is meant for parents and carers, not for children. We don't show ads aimed at children.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict processing, to object and to withdraw your consent. Because the data about your child is only on your phone, you manage it yourself in the app. For anything else, email support@kinletapps.com. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or to the authority in your own country.

Security

Data in the app is kept in the app's private storage on your phone, which other apps cannot read. Use a screen lock to protect it if you lose your phone.

Changes

If the app starts processing new data, for example because a later version lets you track together with your partner, we will update this policy before that feature becomes available. The date at the top shows which version applies.
